Evaluating the Environment for Public-Private PartnershipsThis Infrascope describes the third edition of an informational tool and benchmarking index that assesses the capacity of countries in Latin America and the Caribbean to carry out sustainable public-private partnerships in infrastructure. The study is based on a methodology developed in 2009 and revised in 2010. The analysis and content of this index covers the time period from December of 2011 through July of 2012. The index was built by the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) and is supported financially by the Multilateral Investment Fund (MIF), a member of the Inter-American Development Bank Group.
