Evaluating the Environment for Public-Private Partnerships in Latin America and the Caribbean
The 2014 InfrascopeThis document is the fourth edition of an informational tool and benchmarking index that assesses the capacity of countries in Latin America and the Caribbean to carry out sustainable public-private partnerships (PPPs) in infrastructure. The study is based on a methodology developed in 2009 and revised in 2010. The analysis and content of this index covers the period from May 2014 to August 2014. The index was built by The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) and is supported financially by the Multilateral Investment Fund (MIF), a member of the Inter-American Development Bank Group. The views and opinions expressed in this publication are those of the EIU and do not necessarily reflect the official position of the MIF.
